High strength threaded rods are long rods that are fully threaded from end to end. They are similar to the threaded portion of a bolt but are much larger and do not feature a head.The most common steel threaded rod, classified as ASTM A307, is Grade 2 threaded rod made from low carbon steel. The stronger and more heat resistant Grade 5 threaded rod is made of medium carbon steel quenched and tempered.High strength threaded rods which has high tensile strength.

High strength threaded rods are fasteners that provide good strength and durability for a variety of everyday fastening applications. They are made to meet certain strength requirements, indicated by an ASTM grade rating (inch fasteners) or a class rating (metric fasteners). These steel fasteners have males threads running their entire length for full engagement of nuts when assembling components.
